“Furthermore, we commend the Executive Chairman of Edo State internal Revenue Service Mr. Nidu Inneh for the initiative to drive the process with notable reforms in the system to ensure value for money and social inclusion with great zeal to deploy novel technology. We happy to note that, Edo state is second in terms of internal Revenue generation in Nigeria wit Lagos first. We call on him to press further in his duties to ensure Edo State overtake Lagos accordingly.

“We appreciate Edo state Governor Mr. Godwin Obaseki for the well utilization of funds generated so far . It’s clear indications that, the leadership of EIRS is doing well hence, we call on Edo people to show serious support and concern for the organization by paying tax as at when due. The economic situation in Nigeria call for serious concern hence, for states to function well, Citizens must pay taxes .
