The National President of Aniku Descendant For Ododo/Joel Mandate has congratulated the governor Elect of Kogi State, His Excellency Usman Ahmed Ododo on his election as Governor of Kogi State.
Comrade Aliyu O. Felix in a congratulatory message to the governor elect noted that Usman Ododo ran on competence and track records, saying his emergence as the winner of the Saturday’s governorship election in the state after polling 446,237 votes to beat his closest rival, Muri Ajaka of the SDP, who polled 259,052 votes was not a fluke.
He said the election is a reaffirmation of confidence on people of Kogi in Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello’s administration in the state.
Your victory is a victory for all Kogites irrespective of political affiliation as it shows that the hand of the Almighty God is truly on our dear state. May your renowned brilliance not be eclipsed by greed and quest for selfish and personal aggrandizement. Your emergence is a major pointer that politics today is tilting towards meritocracy.
You contested the election against several qualified fellow sons of Kogi State whom I am confident also has the best interest of Kogi State at heart in offering up themselves for service and I believe they will continue to put the interest of our State first in all their actions.
Once again, Congratulations Your Excellency and thanks for your tenacity, steadfastness and consistent courage.
