COMMUNIQUE ISSUED AT THE END OF NYCN KOGI STATE CHAPTER STAKEHOLDER’S MEETING HELD ON THE 2nd JUNE 2021 AT THE NITEL COMPLEX LOKOJA KOGI STATE.


Following the peace meeting held at the instance of the Hon. Commissioner for youths and SA to the governor on youths & students affair and stake holders of the National youth council of Nigeria (NYCN) Kogi State chapter on 25th April 2021.
The meeting of stake holders held on the second of June 2021 and resolved as follows.
1) That H.E Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello the executive governor of Kogi state, his chief of staff pharmacists Asuku Jamiu, the commissioner youths and the special adviser to the governor on youths & students affair should be appreciated for providing enabling environment and re-positioning the youth council in Kogi state as well as the inclusion of the Kogi youths women and PLWD in the governance of state. a)The stake holders agrees to engage the spirited and cooperate individuals with the aim of reaching out to other stakeholders of the youth council and its affiliates youth organizations within north central state to drum support for youth candidacy in the fourth coming presidential election and equally present H.E Alhaji Yahaya Bello as the sole candidate of the north central states in the 2023 presidential election.
b) That the stakeholders shall make a concerted effort by moving round the 36 states of the federation including F.C.T with the view to adopt governor Yahaya Bello as the youth candidate come 2023 presidential election.

2) That no individual shall be greater or more powerful than the council neither his/her interest shall surpass the collective interest of the council in Kogi state.
3) That by the provision of the 2018 constitution of the council sub section 4 on the expiration of the life of any executive committee of the National youth council of Nigeria shall strickly be adhere to.

4) That the agreement entered on the 25th of April 2021 at the office of the Hon commissioner for youth Kogi state on the exist date of the current Exco remains sacrosanct and must be obeyed.,( 31st July 2021).
5) By same provision of (2018) constitution, other relevant organ of the council at the state level shall invoke the constitution and kick start the process of conducting fresh election into state executive committee of the council (NYCN) state with immediate effect.
