The Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr. Bashir Gegu, has sent a message of appreciation to the Ohinoyi of Girinya, Okoro, His Royal Highness Mall Muhammed Momoh Ganaguda and Ohinoyi of Gegu Beki Nyiwo HRH Alh Muhammad ABBA Alhassan for witnessing the first maiden Edition of Commissioners Unity Cup.
The Commissioner praised their exemplary leadership to the development of Kogi LGA, described as second to none.
He pointed out in the statement that they are instrumental to the peaceful coexistence of the people and society.
The maiden Edition of Commissioner unity cup for Kogi LGA ended yesterday with Bash FC emerging champions.
In his address at the event, HRM the Ohimege IGU of Koton Karfe, Dr Saidu Akawu Salihu admonished the competitors, organizers to develop the spirit of sportsmanship, Commended the person of Engr Bashir Gegu for making them proud.
The Ohimegye thanked Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo for creating the enable environment for youths with talent to prosper in the State, praised him for the discovery of talents in Kogi LGA.
