The surging crowd of Nigerians from the six geo political zones majorly Agile Youths, Women and Physically challenged persons that turned out for the declaration of the presidential vision of Governor Yahaya Bello has been described as a good omen and a show of acceptability.
Hajiya Memunat Ogirimah , kogi state head of World Bank Assisted Projects Monitoring Unit , office of the State Accountant General confirmed that the mamoth crowd that besiezed the Eagle Square, Abuja venue of the declaration as historic, eventful and worthwhile.
Hajiya Memunat Ogirimah who Congratulated Governor Yahaya Bello for the rancour free ceremony which turn out to be a carnival of sort and coincided with the commencement of the Holy month of Ramadan signified Allah’s involvement in the project.
She remarked that Nigerian and Nigerians under the watch of her principal and the political leader of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello it will witnessed total transformation stating that the feats being observed in the lengths and breath of the state would be repeated at the national level.
According to Hajiya Memunat Ogirimah ,the issue of insecurity of lives and properties of citizens which has threatened the cooperate existence of the largest black Africa country would be re-addressed under Governor Yahaya Bello presidency
In her words, before the coming on board of Alhaji Yahaya Bello as the Governor of Kogi state in 2015, insecurity were the order of the day as kidnappers, banditry, highway robbery and criminalities and Kogi state was in the news for bad reasons, adding that through pragmatic approach to governance the Governor has reverse the toga .
Hajiya Memunat Ogirimah acknowledged the giant-strides of the Governor’s inroads in the strategic areas like human and infrastructural transformation,the establishment of science based University at Osara,the construction of twenty thousand capacity public square, construction of a flyover bridge first ever in the history of the state and situated in Lokoja, health, agricultural activities , Youths, Women and Physically challenged empowerment as well as the recognition and placement of Women into critical government’s offices.
She further disclosed that the Governor’s far reaching decision to always remit his counterpart funds to the World Bank has enable the Agro Processing , Productive Enhancement and Livelihood improvement Support Project-APPEAL PROJECT ,to carry out its objective to reduce poverty and create employment opportunity to the able bodied youths,Women, and members of the persons living with disability.
