Hon Engr. Ibrahim Ocheje, has paid tribute to the sacrifices of our brave soldiers on Armed Forces Remembrance Day 2026.
“Let us unite, especially our womenfolk, to reject actions that fuel tensions in our nation. Instead, let’s celebrate our rich diversity, recognizing the strength in our differences.
Our varied backgrounds and cultures are a blessing, not a weakness to be exploited for personal or group gain,” Hon Ocheje urged.
He emphasized the need to tone down divisive rhetoric and tackle the root causes of social unrest that’s fueling separatist movements across the country.
“As we come together today, let’s remember the families of those who gave their lives for our nation. Let’s give them pride in their loved ones’ ultimate sacrifice, knowing they died for a greater cause,” Hon Ibrahim Ocheje added.
