COETK HOLDS 9TH MATRICULATION CEREMONY, WARN AGAINST CULTISM, EXAMINATION MALPRACTICES.

The Kogi State College of Education (Technical) holds her 9th matriculation Ceremony today at the permanent site of the College along Okene Kabba highway.
Delivering her speech, the Provost expressed gratitude to God for making today a reality. The Provost expressed gratitude to His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for approving her second tenure in office and also his support towards the College development especially in the appointment of principal officers. She also appreciated the Secretary to the state Government, Dr Mrs Folashade Ayoade Arike, Commissioner of Education, Hon. Wemi Jones and the Council Chairman Dr. Peter Tukura or their supports towards the College.
The Provost in her statement to the students stated that the college places high premium on character, acquisition of attitude, skills and morals that will make them find fulfilment in a competitive world, and emulate the achievements of some of its product, a Technical Student, Adebayo Kehinde, .
who innovated and build surveillance drones and another Computer student, Bamidele Gbekele who is now a programmer and blogger.
The Provost advices the students against cultism, examination malpractices, indicent dressing on campus and other anti social behaviors.
She Welcomed the Students to the Noble institution and reminded them that the matriculation oath they took is a promise wich must be strictly adhered to.
Present at the occasion were management staff, members of Academic Board, other staff and students, Security Agents, Road Safety and dignitaries among which is the Husband of the Provost, Pastor Jagboro.
