COE Council: Dr. Orugun’s appointment perfect fit — Omoluabi

Senior Special Assistant to Kogi state governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello on Political Matters, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi has applauded the appointment of Dr. J.J Orugun as member Governing Council Kogi State College of Education Technical, Kabba

He described the appointment as a perfect fit and justification of the governor’s commitment to recorgnize competence, capacity and best hands in his appointment of Kogi sons and daughters into key positions in the state.

In a congratulatory letter he personally endorsed on Wednesday, Omoluabi underscored that the Associate Professor does not only possess a robust academic record, but has demonstrated an excellent sense of leadership and capacity to use his wealth of expertise to contribute meaningfully to the growth of the academic institution, especially in Kogi State.

“To say that Associate Professor JJ Orugun is an outstanding academic, mentor, leader and a distinguished Okun son will be to state the least of his qualities

“He has carved a niche for himself in the world of academy where his fruitful decades of experience has been committed to building a healthy career, foster unity, impact on his students and sustain academic development of the state, which today has earned him a higher state assignment.

“He is undoubtedly one of the sons of Kogi of Okun extraction who have held their heads high in integrity, dedication to duty, diligence and excellence.

“He is a round peg in a round hole. I have no doubt in mind that he will be a perfect reference point for performance in this critical academic institution” he said.

While wishing him a successful tenure in office, the governor’s aide urged other sons and daughters of Okun to take a cue from Dr. Orugun and be outstanding and productive in all they do.
