This sacred festival commemorates the conclusion of the holy month of Ramadan during which Muslims performed acts of abstinence and engaged in fasting and prayer
Eid-el-Fitr emphasizes the value of temperance, perseverance and self denial during the holy month of Ramadan which provided a time for devotees of Islam to engage in spiritual reflection and the reaffirmation of their faith
I enjoined all Muslim faithfuls in Kogi State and Nigerians in general to extend the spiritual benefits of Ramadan, which are love, peace and justice to their daily living and through this contribute to the development of our dear nation
