Christmas: Pray for peace, propagate teachings of Christ- Hon. Sandra task Christians, felicitate with Gov. Bello


 

As Christians all over the world celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, Senior Special Assistant Women Affairs to the Governor office of the First Lady Kogi State, Hon. Mimi Sandra has charged Christians not to relent in propagating the teachings of Christ which is a symbol of peace, love and sacrifices to humanity.


Hon. Sandra gave the advice in a statement on Sunday while felicitating with Christians across the globe on this year Christmas celebration.

The philanthropist who used the medium to felicitate with Governor Bello, wife of the Governor Mrs Rashidat Bello on this year celebration tasked Kogites to imbibe the spirit of love, peace, sacrifices on the Occasion of Christmas Celebration.

She tasked Nigerians to reflect on the mystery of the salvation which started with the birth of Jesus Christ and which culminated in His death and resurrection.

Hon. Sandra admonished the people in the spirit of the season to continue to extend a hand of love, benevolence and live as one family irrespective of faiths .

Describing Governor Bello as a silent achiever who will forever be remembered for his laudable projects and making Kogi State the safest in the Country, Hon. said
expressed optimism that the present administration will deliver more for his people in the year to come.

 

She admonished Nigerians not to see the 2023 general election as a do or die affair, but rather, a time to critically evaluate the good work of the All Progressive Congress, (APC) in the last seven and half years, adding that, a vote for all the Candidates of APC from Federal to State will bring about total transformation in Nigeria.

” On behalf of me and my entire family, I rejoice with all Nigerians and particularly every Christian in Kogi State as we celebrate another Christmas marking the birth of Jesus Christ. I pray that the joy associated with the season will be your portion and never pass us bye.

”let’s us all reach out and touch somebody else in a positive way and give a hand to the less privileged that they may rise and walk with us which is the reason for the season”.

While wishing Governor Bello, Christians and Kogites a happy Christmas and a prosperous New year celebration in advance, Hon. Sandra admonished Nigerians, particularly Kogites to irrespective of their religious inclination, learn how to tolerate each other and live together as one indivisible entity.
