CHRISTMAS: JAMA’ATU NASRIL ISLAM, KOGI STATE FELICITATES WITH CHRISTIANS


 

Kogi State Chapter of Jama’atu Nasril Islam has felicitated with Christians in the state on the occasion of Christmas.
The Apex Islamic body in the state in a statement jointly signed by the state Chairman, Ambassador Usman Bello and Secretary, Alhaji Isa Adeboye called on Christians to use the occasion to pray fervently for a Nigeria devoid of bitterness, rancour and acrimony stressing the need for peace and peaceful coexistence among the citizens.
The statement further urged the people of Kogi State to continue to love one another irespective of tribe or religious inclinations.
The state JNI in the statement commended Governor Yahaya Bello for his continued support to religious organizations in the state which has engendered peace and forged cordiality among them stressing the need for it’s sustenance.
The statement congratulated all Christians in the state, especially the Deputy Governor, Chief Edward David Onoja, other Christian members of the state cabinet, and prayed for long life to witness more of the milestone.
