The Senatorial Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kogi Central District, Engr. Abubakar S. Ohere, FNSE has called on Christian
to imbibe the spirit and teachings of Jesus Christ by showing love and affection, sharing of alms with one another at all times as enshrined in the Holy Book during this Christmas.
Engr. Abubakar Ohere made the call in his Christmas message he personally signed and issued to journalists, where he reminded Christians that the birth of Jesus Christ symbolises love, peace, humility and, indeed, dignity for the human race.
“I join our brethren in the celebration of the season while praying God to make it a joyous one for everyone,” he said. It is for this reason that Jesus Christ embodies self-sacrifice, good neighborliness, charity and reconciliation among humankind. This festive season, therefore, calls for sober reflection and reaffirmation of moral rectitude as epitomised by Jesus Christ.
He enjoined the Christian faithful and the entire people of Kogi Central Senatorial district to rededicate themselves and remain steadfast in prayers. On this significant occasion of Christmas, I extend my best wishes to the Christian community and the entire people of the state,” Merry Christmas.
