Christmas: Comr. Edoka Felicitates With Kogi Workers, Preaches Love, Peace


As Christians in Kogi State join the rest of the world today to celebrate Christmas, the Kogi State Chairman, Nigeria Labour Congress, Comr. Onuh Edoka, has enjoined Kogi workers to embrace the virtues of love and peaceful co-existence that the season symbolises.

Edoka in his Christmas goodwill message urged Kogites, Particularly the Workers to also seize the moment to reach out to fellow Workers who are in need.

The NLC Chairman said despite the economic challenges, Nigeria is still making steady progress, therefore urged Nigerian workers not to lose faith in their belief that the country would soon experience better days ahead.

The NLC Chairman who made the disclosure in a statement, said the season of Christmas is one that exemplifies the virtues of love and peaceful co-existence.

” We as workers must continue to extend a hand of love, benevolence and live as one family, irrespective of our faith, assured of a better working environment in the coming years”.

Comr. Edoka admonished workers to pray for a greater tomorrow where life will be in abundance for all, congratulated Christian workers on this year’s celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.

The NLC Chairman congratulated the State workers for witnessing yet another Christmas, says he looks forward with optimism that tomorrow’s environment will be better and more rewarding for the Nigerian Workers.
