The Executive Chairman of Bassa Local Government Area in a press briefing on Christmas declared 2022 Christmas as a Joyful one.
Speaking to news men in Gboloko, Alhaji Mutari Shaibu appreciates God for the gift of Jesus, the born King of Kings, the Lamb of God who came to redeem the world from perdition.
According to him , Jesus is the reason for the season. If Christ had not come, mankind would have been doomed for ever but thank God for Jesus, the Messiah of the Universe.
The Executive Chairman Alhaji Mutari Shaibu of repute equally thanked God for Government of Kogi State for giving enabling environment for the smooth administration of the local government Area and freedom of Christians in the State to freely worship God. He also thank God for answering their prayers and to also Congratulate Governor Yahaya Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State and his cabinet members on the listing of Kogi State as an oil producing State and the completion of all outstanding debts on the Ajaokuta Steel Company by the Federal Government. These major developments would no doubt further affirm Kogi State as the confluence of opportunities.
For the Christian, Alhaji Mutari Shaibu urged Christians to replicate love of Christ by sharing with others in this yuletide. “Christ is love, let us fill the atmosphere with same” he added.
While urging all to be law abiding as they celebrate.
