
Children Day: Guber – Aspirant Calls On Government To Prioritize Welfare

A frontline political leader and philanthropist from Kogi State, Chief Aminu Nda Onuh, has joined millions of Nigerians to rejoice with children on their day.
In a statement from his media office in Abuja on Tuesday, he said the occasion calls for more attention to the total wellbeing of every child in the country.
The gubernatorial hopeful for 2027 said children in Kogi State need greater attention in terms of the provision of free education at all levels, the establishment of functional classes, and the building of health centers to cater to their well-being.
Onuh disclosed that every child has the right to a good education and good health, which are fundamental to their up keep.
The popular politician further assured that his administration will give major priority to children and mothers, decrying the rate of child mortality in the state due to a lack of functional hospitals .
“I will create functional children’s clinics across the state in each ward, and this will help to reduce child mortality rates in the state. This I can assure you,”Onuh
stated.
The guber aspirant therefore appealed to parents to ensure their children are discipline, respect the constituted authorities and avoid keeping bad companies .
