
Nigerians Particularly Christians, have been reminded that they are stewards while sojourning on Earth, asked to spend their God given talents serving God and humanity wisely.

The Vicar of the Diocese of Lokoja, Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion, Emmanuel Anglican Church, Lokoja, Ven. Dr. Godwin Kadiri, gave the charge at a sermon to mark the 90th Birthday Thanksgiving Service of Chief Mrs Rachael Abenemi, regretted that soon death will come calling, but regretted that majority return empty without using the talents given to them in service to God and humanity.

The Clergyman explained that everyone living on Earth is a steward, says a day of accountability for everyman to account for the talent given to him or her is coming, described the 90th birthday celebration of Chief Mrs Abenemi, as a celebration of help of God.

The Clergyman who read from the books of Psalm 90vs1, 1st Peter 4, says it takes the Grace of God to live above seventy, but says when christians walk in the convenant of Service like Chief Mrs Abenemi, they would enjoy freshness, remain green and still bear fruits for the Master.
Vicar Kadiri described Chief Abenemi as a woman who have paid her dues by serving faithfully in the Lord’s vineyard in time past and till now, urged people to use their Grace and talents given to them in whatever endeavours to serve God before the trumpets sounds.
He described those who faithfully journey with God as those who like Chief Mrs Abenemi enjoy the convenant of Grace because they faithfully serve in righteousness, said it is an error before God to die without utilizing talents given to man.
The Clergyman explained that heaven does not allow for excuses, reveals that man would be judged by the talents they die with, added that it is a disaster for man to die without manifestation in service to God and humanity with his talents, urged Nigerians, Particularly Christians to emulate Chief Mrs Abenemi who at 90, is still a reference of service to God and humanity.
In a Goodwill message read on behalf of Prof. Adamu Baike and Gen. Yakubu Gowon, classmates of Chief Mrs Rachael Abenemi at St. Bartholomaeus Middle School Wusasa, Zaria. They expressed satisfaction with the examplary life style of service to God and to humanity lived by Chief Mrs Abenemi.
They said her accomplishments and Longetivity is a true reflection of who she was way back as a product of discipline, hardwork and passionate about selfless service.
Also Speaking, the Member Representing Lokoja Kogi Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, described Chief Mrs Abenemi as a shining example worthy of emulation, thanked God for the grace and strength she enjoys, wished her many more years in good health and prosperity.
The 90th birthday celebration of Chief Mrs Abenemi attracted people from all works of life. Amongst those who graced the occasion were the emisarries of the Maigari of Lokoja, HRM, Alhaji Mohammed Kabiru Maikarfi 3, the Leadership of the Kogi State People’s Democratic Party.
Speaking with the Thenigerianpost, Hon. Sam Abenemi, described the celebration of 90 years of his mother as the grace of God, described his mother as a mother every child would wish to have in discipline, and training to be a positive reference in the society’.
Highlights of the birthday celebration for Chief Mrs Abenemi was the cutting of her 90th birthday cake, and special prayers for her and the Late Chief H. T. Abenemi Family.
