Chief Mrs Damaris Tumbutu Agbogun (JP) celebrates 84th birthday in grand style

It was indeed a time for celebration and thanksgiving when creme de la creme gathered to celebrate the 84th birthday of Chief Mrs Damaris Tumbutu Agbogun.

The thanking service was held at Emmanuel Anglican Church, Lokoja, Kogi State where families and friends trooped out to celebrate the Octogenarian for a blissful life on earth.

In his sermon during the thanking giving ceremony, Ven. Dr Godwin Kadiri of Emmanuel Anglican Church, Lokoja, argued that everyone was born with a talent, hence they should use it to win souls for God.

He said” Today is stewardship Sunday. We looked at the question that God asked Moses in Exodus 4:2. He said what is it in your hand. For Moses it is a staff. But God saw beyond that staff because he was the one that placed it in his hand.

” So until he started doing all kinds of miracles, he new the value of the staff. He never knew the potency of what he was carrying. So today, we are telling Nigerians that there is nobody without a talent or gift to honour the lord. We must look inward, ask God to tell us what he want us to do for him to lift his Kingdom. It goes beyond coming to Church every Sunday. The Church is for all of us and not for Pastors alone, so everybody must come on board and showcase their talent for the progress of the work of God.
