CHIEF JUDGE COMMISSIONS NEWLY ESTABLISHED COURT

 

The Chief judge of Kogi State, Hon justice J .J Majebi has commissioned magistrate court Imane, in Imane district of Olamaboro local government area of Kogi State, amidst pop and pegeantries today 18/04/2024. Justice Majebi charged the community to impress on their children not to involve themselves in acts of criminality , noting that the establishment of the criminal court is to bring justice to the door steps of the common man.
He commended the efforts of his brother Judge, Justice A.N Awulu for displaying his love for his community, Imane .
In the same vein , the president of Imane Development Association, Mr Donatus Okpe thanked the Chief judge for the gesture, stating that it can not be soon forgotten in the annals of his government as chief Judge of Kogi State. Mr Okpe also commended the Director of magistracy Barr. Tanko Mohammed for being delligent in his inspection of the court prior to the commissioning. The Chief registrar of Kogi State High court Barr Jibrin Oladimeji led the management in the entourage. He also commended the fatherly role of HRM Chief Salifu Oda Ojiji of Imane in ensuring the establishment of the magistrate court in Imane community. Other dignitaries present at the ceremony were HRM the Ejeh of Olamaboro local government Chief Simeon Ujah, Bishop/Dr S.A Agada Esq, Elder/Bar Dickson Itodo, Bar A. B Shaibu, NBA Ankpa branch chairman Bar Idenyi J.B , Barr Adejo Emmanuel president UAC Okpo and host of practising lawyers.The occasion was also witnessed by good number of traditional rulers.
