Chief Bamayi Negedu Idu, the Omachi- Atta Wali, has urged privileged Sons and Daughters of the Igala Nation to support hardworking and enterprising kinsmen in various field of endeavors that are Committed and dedicated towards developing themselves and the Igala Nation in general.
Chief Bamayi disclosed this while delivering a speech as the Chief host,at the official launch/Unveiling of the URTV one of the emerging electronic media outfit,at the Chida Hotels Utako, federal Capital Territory ( fct) Abuja, Saturday November 3,2022.
The Omachi Atta Wali further stressed that, the Igala Nation’s Journey to greatness must be hinged
on interdependency, Collectivism and above all, the tendecies and consciousness of the elites and privileged sons and daughters of the kingdom to encourage and multivate the innovative, enterprising and hard-working individuals of the kingdom in their various endeavors, adding that their journey to greatness will remain elusive, only until when the privilege few Starts to become supportive by uplifting the upcoming generation who are passionate about self development and the development of the Igala Nation.
Chief Bamayi who recounted some of the challenges faced by the founder/ CEO of the URTV, Alhaji Ilyasu Onechojon, also applauded him for his dogged determination and focus which led to the establishment of the media outfit, saying that a platform for promoting Igala language and it Cultural heritage has come to stay and the Igala people must rally the Chief Executive Officer, patronise the station to ensure it is sustained.
” I wonder how many dreams, vision and lofty ideas must have gone Dawn the drain due to our collective refusal to be helpful and supportive to dreamers and visionaries of our kingdom”.
The Omachi Atta urged the Igala Nation to remain United, Committed and dedicated to any course that will enhance the development of the Igala kingdom,pointing out that the Chief Executive Officer of URTV, Alhaji Ilyasu Onechojon,has demonstrated uncommon love and patroitism towards the Igala kingdom and should definitely be encouraged by all well meaning sons and daughters of the kingdom both at home and in the diaspora.
