An aspirant for the Chanchaga Federal Constituency of Niger State, on the platform of the all Progressives grand alliance ( APGA),Hon. Musa Usman Ndakpayi,has promised to embark on massive Youth empowerment if elected into the green Chambers of the National assembly, even as he also pledged to provide adequate and functional representation to the good people of Chanchaga Federal Constituency.
Hon. Ndakpayi disclosed this to Newsmen recently, shortly after he was screened by the party’s screening Committee at the National headquarters of the party, Federal capital territory (fct), Abuja, ahead of the party’s primaries and the general election come 2023.
The Frontline aspirant further stressed that the high rate of youth restiveness in Chanchaga Federal Constituecy occasioned by unemployment has become a source of worry and concern, noting that if elected as a member of the National assembly,he would make youth empowerment his utmost priority.
He further noted that if elected, he would lobby for the establishment of skills acquisition center in the Constituecy where the teaming unemployed youth and women will be enrolled for various skills, and after completion, equipment and take off funds shall be provided for them to start their personal business,he added.
In his words,” you see our youth are very
talented,we must engage them on something meaningful if not they will become useful tools in the hands of the devil,so my priority is to empower the youth of Chanchaga Federal Constituecy massively,”
Hon, Ndakpayi also promised if elected to lobby his colleagues in the National assembly for federal jobs for youth in his Constituecy and also ensure that whatever that is meant for his people get to them, adding that his representation would be guided by honesty, transparency and accountability.
Responding to question on why he decided to pursue his aspiration on the all Progressives grand alliance (APGA), platform,Hon. Musa Usman Ndakpayi, maintain that he believes that APGA is the only party with the clean bill of health and the party that uphold justice and fairness.
