The kangaroo Local Government Council Election conducted in Kogi state on the 12 December, 2020 that produced women as Vice Chairmen, across the 21 Local Government Areas and few women Councillors that is being celebrated is shameful an unnecessary.
The women in the state is about fifty one percent of the population lamented the rational for the celebration of undemocratic processes that produced this tokenism.
As at today in Kogi State, the governor and his deputy are men, the three senators are men, 9 members of the federal house of Representatives are men, the 25 members of the state house of Assembly are men lamented that women are humans and should not be treated like second class citizens.
