2023 House of Representatives hopeful, Captain Timi Iyela has felicitated with the Ogori community over the success of this year’s Ovia Osese festival.
In his remarks, Captain Timi Iyela emphasized on the essence of unity. He challenged the people of Ogori to continue to uphold the dictates of unity as without unity there can’t be any meaningful progress in any society.
“I congratulate you my good people of Ogori over the success of this year’s Ovia Osese festival. The turn-out showed that unity is indeed in our very being as a people and as a community.
“I task on us to continue to uphold unity as without unity no meaningful progress however well intended can be achieved by any people.
“I congratulate the organisers of the event. I celebrate with our fathers and mothers and our youths who played various parts that made the event a success. Indeed, anything is possible with unity,” Captain Timi Iyela noted in the felicitation message.
Captain Timi Iyela also condoled with the family of Barrister Tibileri Mosugu and Mr Ezekiel Mosugu who lost their lives in the course of the preparation for the Ovia Osese festival. He prayed God to grant them eternal rest. He prayed God to grant their family members and the Ogori community the fortitude to bear the lose.
