….Time to Add Some Flesh to Governor Yahaya Bello’s Women Inclusiveness Mantra
In preparation for the All Progressive Congress’ State Assembly Primary election slated for May 11th, 2022, the Yagba West Youth Consultative Forum hereby tender a candid appeal to delegates, Party Leaders and Stakeholders of Yagba West Local Government Area, to peruse and digest the manifestos of Oluwayemisi Oshaloto; as she firms up to represent the good people of Yagba West State Constituency.
It is no longer news that the Executive Governor of our dear state long ago since the inception of his administration, started a movement to galvanize support and also create enabling political environment for women involvement and inclusiveness in politics to strive in Kogi State. An initiative that has earned him both national and global recognition.
Also, considering the personality Oluwayemisi Oshaloto, who has always made herself available for community development services, grassroots sensitization and support, and above all have listening ears for the people. One can not ask for a better representative that what the Oluwayemisi Oshaloto’s candidacy is offering us as a region. Why then should we jeopardize that?
Dear Leaders and Delegates, the ball is in your courts and the people are counting on you all not to let them down; as we appeal and demand that Oluwayemisi Oshaloto be delivered at the Primaries come May 11th.
The vision to reposition and stabilize Yagba West State Constituency begin the moment Madam Oshaloto accepted the call on her to run for the Assembly seat. This vision would only be achieved when our candidate is given the opportunity to represent us that the legislative chambers of the state, where the interest and rights of the people are protected and determined.
