World Press Conference by Patriots in Zamfara State.
Call for Justice Over Hijack of APC Congress materials in Zamfara State.
Gentlemen of the press, party faithful, and fellow Nigerians,
We address you today with deep concern over the *brazen hijack of the All Progressives Congress (APC) preparatory process in Zamfara State.* What should have been an inclusive exercise to strengthen our party has been turned into an assault on democracy, fairness, and due process.
Reports from across Zamfara confirm that:
– Accredited party materials were *illegally diverted* away from legitimate voters.
– Bonafide APC members were *denied access* and openly prevented from participating.
– A handful of actors attempted to impose candidates and handpick delegates without the consent of ordinary members.
This is not only a violation of our party’s constitution, but also an insult to the thousands of loyal APC members who have labored to build this party in Zamfara State.
We, under the leadership of *Hon. Dr. Aminu Sani Jaji*, therefore call on the National Chairman of the APC, *Prof. Nantawe*, to:
1. Urgently intervene in Zamfara State.
2. Direct the state leadership to halt every action done outside due process.
3. Ensure that materials meant for eligible voters are restored and proper accreditation is allowed.
4. Defend the principles of internal democracy and fairness that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration stands for.
The APC cannot preach democracy abroad while tolerating impunity at home. We demand immediate corrective action so that Zamfara members can participate freely, fairly, and without fear.
We remain committed to the APC’s ideals, but we will not fold our arms while the rights of our people are trampled as our vision is to take over power in 2027 inshallah.
