It has been protest upon protest since yesterday in Kabba-Bunu Local government area of Kofi state as irregularities took over the said ward Congress.
In what looks like a commando style, it took a different dimension when the ward Congress electoral forms and material was diverted to the house of a particular PDP leader in an undisclosed venue instead of the PDP party secretariat in kabba yesterday.
It was a show of shame as those waiting to participate in electing the new ward Excos were left in the cold, after waiting for due process to be followed ended up in vain.
Those in their hundreds, staged a protest demanding for the proper thing to be done.
An eye witness, Mr.Jimoh Kayode who was equally waiting to be elected as Vice Chairman of his ward said that, trouble started when rumours went round that even the official team that came to Conduct the elections were equally diverted to unknown destination.
Arising from this development, the participants vow to go extra mile in ensuring proper thing is done as laid down by the Constitution of the party and as permitted by law of the land.
They said, “the era of doing illegal election to usher in party executives is over.
Meanwhile, they are on the waiting to meet with appeal Committee executives for a complete Cancellation of the entire results as they are sure of winning the various positions waiting to be occupied.
