Breaking: Engr. Bashiru Gegu Facilitates admission for government secondary school students to study outside the state.
In his avowed commitment to ensure that students from Kogi LGA compete favourably with their counterparts across the country, the Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr Bashiru Gegu has Facilitated the adminision of some indigenes of the area to study outside the State.
The commissioner facilitated the admissions of some government secondary school students to study outside the state through an exchange program in his constituency.
The Commissioner made the disclosure when he hosted the proprietor of the school and one of the student who were on a familiarization visit today.
Engr Bashiru described education as the only legacy that can be bequeathed to the children of the area, promised to continue to do more.
He praised Gov Usman Ahmed Ododo for the enabling environment he has created for students to acquire qualitative education, said he is only following the footsteps of the Chief Servant.
In his remarks, the speaker is Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aliyu Umar, described Engr Bashiru Gegu as a natural leader, with unquenchable passion for the growth and development of Kogi LGA.
