Elder Joel Oyibo Salifu has been commended for his absolute loyalty to his principal, the Governor of the State His Excellency Alh. Ahmed Usman ododo, a development many have attested to as uncommon.
A statement by the commission Secretary Kogi Christian Pilgrims Commission Dr Simeon Onakpa on behalf of the Executive Chairman of the Christian Pilgrims commission, Lokoja, Chief Ayo Olubunmi Christopher on the occasion of the Deputy Governor’s birthday in Lokoja.
In the statement Dr Onakpa observed that celebrating ones date of birth is scriptural according to psalms 90:12″(teach us to number our days that we may apply our hearts onto wisdom,), explaining that it is also the expression of gratitude to God in the affairs of man.
He congratulated Elder Joel Oyibo Salifu on his birthday whilst wishing him good life, Grace, more wisdom and good health in the years ahead.
Dcn Onakpa ph.D lauded the interest of the Deputy Governor towards the growth of the Christian pilgrims commission. Dr Onakpa who is also the Secretary Conference of states pilgrimage leaders and Managers in Nigeria used the medium to showers encomium on the Governor His Excellency Alh. Ahmed Ododo for his administration’s workers friendly policies as demonstrated by his presence at this year’s workers day celebration recently.
He called on the Governor to continue his good work stating that God is always blessing who ever that put smiles on the faces of the people.
