Birthday: Torere Oghenetega Peter celebrates With YEKOPE Orphanage home

Torere Oghenetega Peter aka TOP is the President and founder of TOP CITIZENS GLOBAL RIGHTS FOUNDATION, a foundation whose aim is to stand for, and protect the rights of citizens globally and enlighten the masses of their fundamental human rights.

TOP, was born on the 27th of August 2009, is known for reciting the simplified version of the Child Rights Act off heart and has been widely celebrated as an advocate of the rights of children, decided to celebrate his birthday with the children of YEKOPE Orphanage home located at Adankolo New layout, Lokoja Kogi state on Sunday 28thof August, 2022.

The event was tagged; Birthday worship concert in the orphanage was convened by Austine Joe, TOP CITIZENS GLOBAL RIGHTS FOUNDATION and friends with Joshua King and Lord Bishop and August Birthday celebrants.

TOP, who recited and dedicated two poems for the children at the event used the occasion to call on well meaning individuals, Families, Government and cooperate organizations to always come to the aid of the less privilege in our society.

He emphasized on the need to see children in orphanage homes as part of the society and make them have a sense of belonging by always visiting them not just when the are celebrating any event but ensuring that they visit the orphanage always with gifts, foodstuffs, toiletries and other essential items that make them comfortable.

The children in the orphanage were thrilled to numerous songs by talented gospel artiste like Joshua King, Lord Bishop while award Winning Humour merchant and Mc, ST. Mosco anchored the event and made guest and the children laugh out their ribs.

It was a moment of emotion when the event came to an end and the children saw people going to their various homes and the musicians packing their equipment into the waiting van.

However, TOP CITIZENS GLOBAL RIGHTS FOUNDATION has promised that by God’s grace, it will be an annual event, reassured the operators of YEKOPE Orphanage of their continued support.
