Birthday: Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris Felicitates With Her Excellency Hajia Rashidat Bello.


 

The Kogi State Commissioner for Finance Budget and Economic Planning, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris has commended Her Excellency, Hajia Rashidat Bello, the First Lady of Kogi State, for her efforts in making life easier for widows and the weaker members of the society.

The Commissioner made the commendation in a birthday message to the wife of the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Hajia Rashidat Bello.

MAAI described her as a complete woman and mother whose positive impact on the lives of the vulnerable and less privileged in the State remains unquantifiable.

In a statement signed by the Commissioner, who is also the Turaki Kotonkarfe, expressed delight with Hajia Rashidat Bello’s humanitarian activities, described her as an amazing Amazon with a Midas touch.

He said, “I am particularly happy with the life of service you have led so far.”

He noted that as Chairperson of ‘Direct Reach out Project (DROP) to cater for the vulnerable, a project which aims to empower thousands of persons under the Kogi Women and Youth Advancement Foundation (KOWYAF), expressed satisfaction that the project has touched the lives of the people at the grassroots in many remarkable ways.

While pointing out that Hajia Rashidat Bello had through her KOWYAF Project, transformed and improved on the quality of lives of widows and the less privileged members of society makes her birthday one that calls for commendation and celebration when juxtaposed with the lives she has positively transformed.

“It is heartening to note that Hajia Rashidat Bello has so far touched lives of women and children in the State, lauded her widows empowerment program and for uplifting the standard of living of the vulnerable as part of her charitable undertakings.’’

He urged the First Lady to continue with her invaluable support to her husband “as he brings succor to Kogi State.’’

MAAI concluded by urging Hajia Rashidat to “strive to continue to do more for widows and the less privileged members of the society pointing out that this is the time the country needs her motherly contributions.
