The Kogi State Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris has congratulated the Kogi State Commissioner for Works and Housing, Engineer Abubakar Ohere on his 55th birthday anniversary celebration.
The Commissioner said it is heartwarming to celebrate a man of strong character and an outstanding ambassador of the new direction team who has devoted his life to rendering selfless services to the state, nation and humanity at large.
MAAI described Engineer Abubakar Ohere as a personality who has carved a niche for himself looking at his sterling performances right from the inception of the Governor Yahaya Bello led administration in the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
He described Engr. Ohere as a man of many parts, brought about peace, tranquility, equity and justice in resolving several disputes without litigation, said the current massive road infrastructures development being witnessed across the state is a testament that the Works Commissioner is a goal getter and an achiever per Excellence.
He further stressed that Kogi State is happy to have someone of his calibre, praying that God in His infinite mercy will continue to grant him the needed wisdom, knowledge and understanding to continue to pilot the affairs of his office.
The Commissioner described Engr Ohere as a detribalised personality that only cares about what you can offer and not based on where you come from.
While he notes that Engr. Ohere is an amiable, pragmatic and workaholic Honourable Commissioner for Works and Housing, wished him happy 55th birthday celebration and prayed that God would grant him more years ahead in good health and prosperity.
