The newly elected Principals of the Kogi State House of Assembly yesterday visited Gov. Yahaya Bello to felicitate with him on his 47th birthday anniversary.
Speaker Mathew Kolawole led the new face of leadership of the Kogi State House of Assembly to celebrate the Governor’s birthday.
Speaker Kolawole described Gov. Yahaya Bello as a rare gem, praised his leadership style of inclusion.
He prayed God to grant the Governor more opportunities that would make him serve his fatherland, expressed satisfaction that the State is on a sound economic footing under his leadership.
Those who were at the birthday with Gov. Yahaya Bello yesterday aside the Speaker Rt Hon (Prince) Matthew Kolawole, in attendance was the Deputy Speaker Rt Hon Isiaka Rabiu, House Leader Hon. Muktar Bajeh, Deputy House Leader Hon. Tenimu, Chief Whip Hon. Dahiru Akor and Deputy Chief Whip Hon. Enema Paul.
The Governor in his remarks reiterated his commitment to the improve wellbeing of the people of the state, congratulated the new leadership, tasked them to work in harmony with the Speaker to enable the state reap more dividends of democracy.
