The Honourable Commissioner of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, kogi state, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris has expressed his heartfelt felicitation to Barrister Babatunde Irukera on the auspicious occasion of his 54th birthday, 4th September, 2022.
He said Barister Babatunde Irukera is an illustrious son of Yagba, Light of Okun and our Pride in the confluence state owing to his dedicated service and profound contribution to Nation Building.
Asiwaju in his message released through his media Assistant, Ayopemi OPOMULERO resonated the alluring aura of the celebrant as a legal luminary, Humane leader, Community developer, staunch progressive, refined politician, revered Royal Prince and an Omooluwabi per excellence. Barrister Irukera is an exclusive embodiment of patriotism and altruistic leadership, Mukadam stated.
In his words, “Barrister Babatunde Irukera is a change maker, transformative avatar and an exemplary public servant whose unprecedented strides in office as Executive Vice Chairman/ CEO of Federal Competition and consumer protection commission(FCCPC) had changed the commission from it hitherto obscure and inefficient state to a proactive and result oriented office, with a onerous agenda of protecting the rights of consumers against errant service providers”.
“With his arrays of accomplishments, both in private practice and public office, buding leaders and generations to come will be inspired by his purposeful leadership, glean from his intellectual flow and inculcate his Omooluwabi character. No doubt, he’s a phenomenal role model and moral compass of note”.
The Honourable Commissioner with great optimism opined, that Barrister Babatunde Irukera and his admirable achievements in his present mandate has added value to the Nigerian state in no small measure, most importantly, it has projected the image of our beloved party APC in good stead.
