Benjamin Maji conferred with Chieftaincy title as the Akomu Ogohi Akpacha with the salutation “Okoolo”


 

A business mugul, Chief Benjamin Maji has been conferred with a Chieftaincy title ‘Akomu Ogohi Akpacha by the Ogohi Akpacha in Omala Local Government Area of Kogi State, HRH, Chief Paul Edibo.

The glamorous event which took place on Monday, 26th of December, 2022 witnessed dignitaries from far and near.

Speaking on his conferment with the chieftaincy title, Chief Benjamin Maji said the recognition would be reciprocated through consistency in community development, humanitarianism and good deeds.

The Akomu Ogohi Akpacha expressed appreciation to the traditional ruler for honouring him and his family, stressing that the title was a greater call to service.

Chief Maji urged well meaning people to always identify what is good for the society in order to attain an egalitarian society.

The title holder thanked those who identified with him at the moment of celebration and promised to uphold the integrity of the people of the area.

Earlier, the Ogohi Akpacha, Chief Paul Edibo said the Conferment of Chieftaincy titles was part of the celebration of his twenty fifth years on the throne.

Chief Edibo urged the beneficiaries to be good ambassadors of the land and wished them well in their endeavours.
