
Beanard Ajewole, has been appointed as a Member of the National Steering Committee for the Vote not fight Campaign Against The 2023 General Election.
The Vote Not Fight Campaign is a youth-focused non-profit and non-partisan campaign that seeks to increase the participation of youth in Nigeria’s political and electoral processes by promoting peaceful and constructive youth engagement with their peers, statesmen, political stakeholders, the electoral umpire, security agencies and the media before, during, and after elections.
Through the VNF Campaign, youth-focused civil society organizations and community based groups have promoted peaceful elections during two general elections and twelve off-cycle governorship elections.
The VNF campaign is implemented with support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Foreign Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO) and the National Democratic Institute (NDI).
In a letter of appointment, the VNF campaign said it has identified Mr. Bearnard as one of such very strong allies capable of exacting a significant level of influence that will aid the campaign achieve its set goals, says it hope to work with him to build a consensus for peaceful general elections in 2023.
