Persons living with disabilities have been assured of the continued support from the present administration in the State.
Engr. Bashiru Abubakar Gegu, Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals Development gave the assurance when he received in audience some persons with disabilities in his office, urged them to live life with optimism.
Engr Bashiru urged them to cease the opportunities that lies in disability to make a living out of life, assuring that with the recent passage of Persons with disabilities Commission, a new lease of life awaits persons with disabilities.
Engr Bashiru urged for the continued support of the people living with disabilities, said the time to build synergy between the Government and persons living with disabilities in the state is now.
The Commissioner assured that they should be rest assured that what ever is due to persons with disabilities in the State would be given to them.
