Barr. Babatunde Ayokunle Irukera that I know.
Please permit me to bare my mind, so that you can judge me with an open mind.
Barr. Babatunde Ayokunle Irukera a legal luminary, a prince with a difference, highly cerebral, unperturbed, unassuming Prince of Egbe Mekun.
I am forced to write this piece because of what this man represent beyond cosmetics political jamboree and political writing.
Many of us misjudged him in the time past to be too refined to play the Nigeria politics, but he proved us wrong by his own methodologies and refined ideal that he brought into politics.
Let me term it BAI Political Philosophy that is touching the lives of the downtrodden without going about with camera and data boys. Empowering the younger generation without saying ‘pim’!
I was in my house one day a young man by name Deji Adeniyi came to me through a lady in BAI team, I was wondering what was it. When he opened his mouth he said BAI discovered an old woman living in a house unkempt, sleeping on a bare floor, ladies and gentlemen he was mobilized to do the needful.
During the Covid-19 pandemic BAI on 3 solid occasion shared food stuffs to the entire Kogi State, what shocked me the most was his large heart to forget the past on the money spent during the political adventures and carry on with his people’s welfare.
Twice now this same man has blessed our younger ones with working tools to allow them practice what they learnt. One of the beneficiaries came to me this morning to thank the donor BAI and I said this man is wow’ and may God bless him the more because he touches the lives of the downtrodden and less privileged.
I now concluded in my mind that if there is a chance to show case one of our own who has a large heart to shoulder responsibility with unabating zeal, Barr. Babatunde Ayokunle Irukera is one of them.
Let us always pray for him because like Oliver Twist! So that he would be sent to a higher height to do more of generational wealth builder.
