Earlier today the 19th of June, 2023 at the State Executive Council Meeting presided over by the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello, Government officials who resigned their appointments to contest for the Gubernatorial seat to succeed the incumbent Governor upon the completion of his tenure, who were recently reinstated and cleared by the State House Of Assembly having lost/withdrawn from the race, were sworn-in by the Governor under oaths as administered by the State’s Attorney General, Ibrahim Sanni Muhammed SAN.
The Honourable Commissioner For Local Government And Chieftaincy Affairs, Barrister Salami Momodu Ozigi Deedat while appreciating the Governor for yet another opportunity to serve, has reiterated his absolute loyalty to the system and the Government of Kogi State to continue to contribute meaningfully in the interest of the State.
