IDEAL ORPHANAGE SCHOOL OKENE

In what could be described as a humanitarian gesture, and her love for the less privileged, Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto, who was the Special Adviser to the Governor on Multilateral and Donor Agencies, and currently the Project Coordinator of the Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP) in Kogi State, on Friday, put smiles on the faces of orphans who are students of Ideal Orphanage Nursery/Primary and Secondary School in Agassa, Okene Local Government Area as she paid both WAEC and NECO fees for some students as well as provided UNIFORMS for all the 56 pupils of the school who are orphans.

In addition, the NGO also provided writing and educational materials to the school for use by the students.

Presenting the cash donation to the management of the school, Hajia Ahmed Nana Ozioma on behalf of GLOBAL GREEN PILLARS INITIATIVE commended the founders and managers of the school for their concerted efforts towards uplifting the lives of children of the less privileged, especially the orphans. She urged the students to make good use of the opportunity and wished them success in their exams.

Responding, the proprietor of the school thanked His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for his eagle eyes in selecting only the best, as hope was completely lost for some of them to participate in the 2021 SSCE/NECO.

However, immediately the school approached Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto, through her NGO swung into action and paid their WAEC/NECO fees, and went further to provide writing materials and uniforms for all the students of the school.

This unbeatable gesture, they said, would remain ever green in their hearts, even as they prayed for God’s blessings upon Gov. Yahaya Bello, and his kind hearted Appointees.
