Award as Most Gender Sensitive Governor and Goodwill Ambassador of Nigeria Women; Turaki of Koto Karfe Congratulates Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, Saying it’s Most Deseving Award

The Turaki of Koto Karfe who also doubles as the Honourable commissioner of Finance, Budget and Economic planning; Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, FCA has congratulated his Leader, principal and the youngest Governor in the nation, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello on his conferment of award as the most gender sensitive Governor in Nigeria and decoration as a Goodwill ambassador of Nigeria Women by National Council of women societies in conjunction with Global Gold Consult, saying the award and decoration is meritorious and most deseving.

In the congratulatory message he personally signed, Asiwaju said, just as your giant strides in the security architecture of the state could not be shrouded in secrecy or wished away, but attracts torrents of commendation nationally, in the same vein, your historic credential as regard gender sensitivity and beyond the mark of 35 percent affirmative action achievement for women in your administration is not only unusual, rather, you have raised the bar of governance as geared towards women empowerment in the annals of our nation’s democratic practice.

Turaki notes, that In kogi state today, through your dynamic and purposeful leadership template, we have women occupy strategic and enviable positions, that was hitherto reserved for men alone. We have women as Secretary to the state Government, Head of Service, Commissioner in your cabinet, special advisers, Vice chairperson in the 21 local Government council areas and all council leaders at the legislative arm of the councils.

This is never a mean feat in a men dominated political landscape like ours in Kogi state, hence, it takes a leader with high democratic affinity, deep courage, humane disposition and Nationalist ideology like His Excellency to engender such inclusiveness in the face of strong opposition due to long age tradition, Mukadam stated.

“I profoundly congratulate and felicitate with you Your Excellency on these auspicious occasion of your deserving and meritorious award from a reputable organization like NCWS. Its an eloquent testimony of your exceptional service to Kogites, especially in building walls of Peaceful coexistence, inclusiveness in governance and Unity across board, leaving no one behind.

I vehemently pray that Almighty Allah will continually grant you the needed wisdom, understanding and wherewithal to pilot Kogi state to a greater height and serve humanity in a higher pedestal, because you have shown to be a bridge builder and an intentional leader. Amin

*Signed;*
*Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, FCA, FCTI*
