Auchi Polytechnic: Governing Council Chairman Promises Rapid Academic, Infrastructural Development


 

The Chairman of the Governing Council of Federal Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo State, Professor Stephen Ocheni has promise to use his wealth of experience to contribute to the rapid academic and infrastructural development of the Institution .

Professor Ocheni who made the pledge today in Abuja, the nation’s capital shortly after his inauguration as Chairman of the Council of the Polytechnic, said he is fully aware and abreast with the running of Polytechnic, having schooled and work with Polytechnic in the past.

The Governing Council Chairman assured that he would work closely with other Council members and management of the Polytechnic to achieve the core mandates of the institution.

Professor Ocheni described the assignment as a recognition for his unwavering commitment to the advancement of the body of knowledge in the Country, promising to use the present opportunity to do more for the education sector.

“I wish to sincerely appreciate and thank President Muhammadu Buhari for approving my appointment to serve in this capacity, and to express my readiness to make a difference in the life of the Institution i have been so appointed to serve “.

“polytechnic remain one of the sure way for the Country to attain the much desired technological advancements ,we must embrace ,give it the needed support and encouragement to enable the country join the league of technologically advance nations”.

Professor Ocheni who was a former Minister of State Labour and Employment, called on other members of the Governing Council to see the accelerated growth of the Polytechnic as top most priority.

He expressed appreciation to all those that have identified with him since his appointment and inauguration .
