The Senior Special assistant (SSA) to Kogi State Governor on Inter-religious affairs, Alhaji Muhammed Sani Salifu has described the return and Coronation of the Attah of Igala Kingdom, His Royal Majesty,Matthew Alaji Opalawa as historic and a new dawn in Igala nation.
Honourable Mohammed Sani Salifu stated this at the Palace of Attah Igala during the rounding- off of the coronation rites and ceremony that heralded the installation of His Royal Majesty,Matthew Alaji Opaluwa as the Attah of Igala.
According to him, the return from hunting expedition and coronation of the Attah of Igala would bring peace, unity and progress to Igala Kingdom and advised the Igala sons and daughters to cooperate and rally round the revered Royal Father for the prosperity of Igala nation.
The senior special assistant who stated that the installation of Attah Igala was a joyous moment, further commended the state Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Adoza Bello for his efforts and contribution which led to the successful installation of his Royal Majesty, Matthew Alaji Opaluwa as the Attah of Igala.
