Hon. Yemisi Oshaloto, the Kogi State Representative Aspirant for the Yagba West LGA House Of Assembly under the All Progressive Congress (APC) party who is a lover of all religions celebrate Eid al-Adha with the Faithful Muslims in Yagba West LGA and across Kogi State.
The leading Aspirant called on Muslims and the good people of Yagba West to fear Allah because that is the first great achievement any human being can seek after.
In her press release, she declared; “I hope that this fear of Allah will lead us to help our fellow statesmen and to contribute our quota to the development of the State and humanity at large.”
Furthermore, “It is this fear of Allah that will drive those whom Allah has bestowed with power over administration, to make them reflect and ensure that the trust granted upon them by Allah is not betrayed.”
Oshaloto pray to Allah to guide those who are leaders in politics, businesses, religions, the military, and indeed, all Nigerians to reflect on their responsibilities and discharge these responsibilities with the fear of Allah.
Also, she called on women across Yagba West LGA to please make her dream a reality. She observed that in the current Nigerian political sphere, women are been neglected not because they are not good enough to serve in political positions but because gender equality is not valued yet. She said; “I know that women determine election results because of our populations, I am convinced that I will make a voice to the voiceless when elected.
She implores all, as always, to find time during the Eid-el-Kabir festivities to meditate on the immense benefits that our nation can derive from a tremendous demonstration of piety, honesty, selflessness, tolerance, peaceful co-existence with others, equity, fairness and justice for all; which are an integral part of the message of the Holy Prophet.”
She submitted that if she’s elected, her administration will remain fully committed to the implementation of measures and policies that will further promote and enhance national peace, stability, and progress.
