
The Association of Master Bakers and Caterers of Nigeria [AMBCN] Kogi state chapter, has reiterated its readiness to collaborate with the state internal Revenue Board to fast-track socio-economic development of the State

The far reaching decisions were arrived at during a meeting between the top management staff of the board and executives of the Association held at the Head quarters of the board in Lokoja, the state capital.
The state chairman of the Association, Chief Adeniyi Bamidele Gabriel disclosed that the meeting was conveyed to strengthened areas of cooperation as partner in progress and to improve the economy of the state.
He further stated that issues of multiple taxation was put on the table for discussion ,while the influx of external bread from neighboring states which has adverse effect on the sale of their products was equally discussed.
It germane at this point to tell the general public who are the consumers of our manufactured projects that some merchants of death who want to make outrageous profit at the expense of citizens’ welbeing use potassium bromate which is against NAFDAC recommendation and approval.
Potassium bromate is a banned flour improver and a known cancer-causing agent , therefore patrionising the state manufactured loaves of breads are wholesome,safe, quality,and efficacious products.
Kogi state AMBCN is on the guide to watch out for these injurious products anywhere in the state and report same or any suspended fake/counterfeit unwholesome products to the regulations organizations
Chief Adeniyi Bamidele Gabriel assured the board of his member’s readiness to be up to date with their revenue payment as part of their civic responsibility to the state.
He appealed to the board management to help the Association in the angles of softloan, address multiple taxation and government’s prompt intervention to restrict the influx of external bread into the state as it has affected their business.
