AREWA YOUTH CONSULTATIVE COUNCIL, KOGI STATE CHAPTER ATTENDED THE SUMMIT OF KAKANDA SONS AND DAUGHTERS ASSOCIATION


The organization under the Chairmanship of Comrade Yusuf Abbas Kogi State Chapter was in attendance of the Summit Program of Kakanda Sons and Daughters Association.
The Program which was achor by the indefatigable Comrade and the CEO Kakandae Prime Television Comrade Umar Ali Yakubu appreciate everyone for gracing the program, it as open with an opening prayer by the Rep. Of the State President NYMSN Kogi State Chapter Amb. Ibrahim Dende who prayer that the event should be a keynote message to the attendance and those who couldn’t attend the event.
The were dignitaries present among them are: The Representative of the Chairman Lokoja Local Government, Honorable Suleiman Abubakar who happen to be the Councilor Representing Kakanda Ward, the Deputy Majority Leader and member Representing Lokoja ll, Kogi State House of Assembly Hon Idris Ndako who was ably Represented by Hon Momoh Lafiya, the Chief Regitrar Shariah Court of Appeals Barr. M.M Bello, Hon Sofada Idris, Hajiya Hauwa kulu, Hajiya Zainab, Comrade Abdullah Madami The Coordinator National Youth Council of Nigeria Lokoja Chapter, Comrade Yusuf Abbas the State President National Youth Mobilization and Sensitization Network, the Representative of Arewa Youth Consultative Council AYCC Kogi State Chapter Amb.Ibrahim Dende, Hon. Baba Aliyu the Chairman Motorcycle Riders Association of Nigeria Kogi State Chapter were all present.
After the organization anthem, Keynote Speech was Delivered by Mrs Aisha Muhammed one of the Staff of Bishop Delise Secondary School Lokoja who speaks on the topic “Violence against Women – particularly intimate partner violence and sexual violence, she says : is the Major Health Problem and a Violation of Women’s Human rights. Worldwide, almost one third (27%) of women agaed 15-49years who have been in a relationship report that they have been subjected to some form of physical and/or Sexual violence by their intimate partner.
She concluded her speech by saying the world Health organization is trying their best to promote egalitarian gend
We norms as part of life skills and comprehensive sexuality Education curricula taught to young people.
The Chief Regitrar Shariah Court Hon Barr. M.M Bello gave his Goodwill message to the Youth at large to remain focus and also promote our cultural heritage to the world as our number one priority.
The State Coordinator Comrade Abdulghaffar Usman urge the youths to always see themselves as one in respective of the tribes, religions nor ethnicity we are from.
They were other Goodwill messages presented by the Dignitaries present.
The program was ended with a Closing prayer by one of the Dignitary of the event.
