Arewa Group for Peaceful Coexistence Calls On Tinubu to Intervene in Rivers Political Crisis, Says Call by Chief Clark is political.
A Pro Wike Group, Arewa Group for Peaceful Coexistence has called on President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to wade into the political feud in Rivers State.
The group noted that the call for the arrest of the FCT Minister is a political plot to whittle down the popularity of Chief Nyesome Wike ahead of the next general election.
The call for President Ahmed Bola Tinubu to Wade into the feud between Gov. Siminlaye Fubara and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesome Wike was made in Abuja at a Press Conference by Arewa Group for Peaceful Coexistence.
The group made the call following the recent call by elder statesman Edwin Clark, calling for the arrest of the FCT Minister.
The group described the call by Chief Clark as as a ploy to whittle down the popularity of the FCT Minister from delivering Rivers State to the ruling APC in 2027.
The Arewa Group for Peaceful Coexistence said it stands by Chief Wike, said any plan to arrest him is uncalled for and a political plot by some mischief makers working against the past and President Tinubu.
The group lamented that following several interventions by President Tinubu in the Rivers political crisis with far reaching solution, Chief Clark would still make the call.
