ARCHBISHOP OBAYOJIE URGES CHRISTIANS TO REST THEIR HOPE ON GOD.

Nigerians has been admonished to rest their hope on God for survival, sustainance and existence, as its only by God’s grace and providences that the Nigerian masses could survive in this hard economic situation they were currently witnessing.
The General oversee of the Christ Victory life Church International, aka Victory Center, Abuja , Archbishop Dr. Napoleon Obayojie gave the charge as part of his Christmas messages to Christians in Nigeria, While fielding questions from journalists at the victory Centre headquarter’s Church, Area 1 Garki Abuja, Wednesday December 25th 2024.
According to the General oversee, no one would have known that Nigerians could survive the economic hardship for weeks when the current regime began since about Eighteen months ago, but that God’s providence, love and grace has sustained the Nigerian masses inspite of the agonizing experiences from bad policies of the Current Government.
Hear him, ” it wasn’t that the Government gave anything, nor there was a policy reversal, but Nigerians still survive, you can see how the Church is empty, alot of persons had traveled, the last Sunday service before today’s Christmas service the Church is filled with people, so, you can see that is God that Sustains not man nor any Government”.
Continuing, Archbishop Obayojie said his position is evident in the President’s recent media interview where he besieged Nigerians to be resilient on the administration’s policy, a pointer to the fact that, the Government was still adamant on its policies dehumanizing Nigerians , just like the biblical pharaoh, Obayojie fumed.
Reflecting on the birth of Jesus Christ and what it symbolised for mankind, Archbishop Obayojie pointed out that, the birth of Jesus Christ was the hope of glory and the light of the world, he stressed that all the scientific and technological advancement the world had witnessed came as a result of the birth of Jesus Christ .
He said though, man has over the years abused all that came through the birth of Jesus Christ, however,the birth of Jesus Christ remains the hope of glory of Christians.
