Dear Sir/Ma

APPRECIATION

I thank the Almighty God, the giver of life, the creator of Heavens and the Earth for the special privilege to be alive to see this day and more importantly for the the rare privilege of being elected as Senator representing the good and dynamic people of Kogi West Senatorial District,Kogi State.

I thank His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Governor of Kogi State and the entire leadership of the State and our great Party the All Progressive Congress (APC) for electing me as the flagbearer and for their commitment to the success of the mandate given to me.

I appreciate all Traditional Leaders, Religious Leaders, Community Leaders and Political Leaders, as well as leaders and members or various Trade Unions, in Kogi West Senatorial District for electing me as their Senator in the last election.

I am grateful to the clergy and ulamas for their support and I pray for continued peaceful co-existence of all faith in Kogi West Senatorial District.

I appreciate My brothers and sisters from Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency for their unwaivering support to my candidature and return as their representative in Upper Chamber of the National Assembly.

I am grateful to My brothers and sisters from Kabba Bunnu/IJumu Federal Constituency for their selflessness and commitment to equity and equality, which was the basis of my victory.

I thank My kinsmen in Yagba for their unity and steadfastness in ensuring the success of a Yagba Senator in our lifetime.

I also thank all my fellow contestants, especially Hon Tajudeen Yusuf of the People’s Democratic Party for allowing a peaceful, issue based campaign and violence free election. It is my prayer that in the coming years, we will partner together in bringing dividends of democracy to our people.

I thank the entire political class in Kogi State(regardless of party affiliation) for their support leading to my victory.

I hereby appreciate person’s with different political views and all who worked against my emergence for doing so within the ambits of legal and constitutional democracy and for ensuring peaceful elections.

It is my prayer that the Almighty God, the elevator of man, shall equip me with the wisdom and resources of kinds necessary to be an examplary representative of the people.

I therefore call on all people of Kogi West Senatorial District regardless of age, race, religion, political affiliation e.t.c to co-operate with me for the peace, progress and development of the Senatorial District.
