By joshua APPEAL FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR URGENT HIP REPLACEMENT SURGERY FOR ANTHONY GABRIEL EFUROSIBINA
We humbly appeal to the Kogi State Government, public-spirited individuals, philanthropists, corporate organisations, and other well-meaning Nigerians to come to the aid of Master Anthony Gabriel Efurosibina, a 19-year-old young man battling serious health challenges who urgently requires financial assistance to undergo life-changing hip replacement surgery.
According to a medical report issued by Shalom Heptacrest Hospital, located at No. 8, Arigbede College Road, behind WHO, Lokongoma Phase II, Lokoja, Kogi State, Anthony, whose hospital number is 2032, is a known sickle cell disease patient who presented with progressive pain and restricted movement in both hips.
Following clinical evaluation and radiological investigations, he was diagnosed with bilateral avascular necrosis (AVN) of the femoral heads, a condition that affects the blood supply to the hip bones and can lead to bone damage and collapse.
The medical report indicates that his right hip is more severely affected, with advanced collapse of the femoral head and secondary osteoarthritis. This has resulted in severe pain, difficulty walking and significant limitations in his daily activities.
In view of the severity of his condition, the hospital has recommended urgent right total hip replacement surgery to relieve his pain, restore mobility and improve his overall quality of life.
The estimated cost of the surgery is Four Million Naira (₦4,000,000).
Unfortunately, raising this amount presents a significant financial challenge for his family. We are therefore appealing to the Kogi State Government, compassionate individuals, charitable foundations, corporate organisations, community leaders and all people of goodwill to support Anthony financially and help him access the urgent medical care he needs.
