Appeal Court Rulling: Chief Babayemi Olorunfemi Congratulates Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman – Charges Smart Adeyemi and Achimugu to Retrace Their Steps


 

The Director General, Babayemi Vanguard Support Group for Ododo/Joel, Chief Babayemi Olorunfemi has congratulated Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman for his recent victory at the Court of Appeal; as regards the brouhaha which aroused as a result of Alhaji Ododo’s landslide victory during the party’s primary election.

Judging by the hypothesis which led to the Appeal Court’s judgement as delivered by Justice Muhammed Lawal Shuaibu, leading a three-member panel of Justices of the court, it was deduced that cases instituted by Abubakar Achimugu and former Senator Smart Adeyemi both lacked merit. It is on this established crystal-fact that Chief Babayemi Olorunfemi, the Kogi born philanthropist and core supporter of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman’s gubernatorial bid, admonished the aggrieved parties to retrace their steps, down their swords, and unite for the party’s success come November 11th, 2023.

Chief Babayemi Olorunfemi further phrased that Abubakar Achimugu and particularly former Senator Smart Adeyemi are both super beneficiaries of the dividends of the All Progressive Congress (APC) over the years, and as such should not be associated with schemes aimed at depriving the party her due victory as the state’s gubernatorial election approaches. And now that Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman’s primary election victory has been affirmed by the Court of Appeal, it is then imperative for Smart Adeyemi and cohorts to retrace their steps.

The Director General, Babayemi Vanguard also congratulated His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello for the success rates recorded and still recording as Executive Governor of the state. He noted that Kogi has been repositioned as one of the fastest growing state in the country, and a force to be reckoned with in terms of substantial developmental initiatives as initiated and adequately executed by the New Direction Government.

Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman being a member of the New Direction Government from inception is a perfect fit as successor in order for Kogi State to continue in the already established path of growth. Hence, the choice of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman as successor to His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello is a boost even as our dear state continue to open up her boarders for consequential developments

While noting that it has been a week loaded with jubilations for the All Progressive Congress family in the state, Chief Babayemi Olorunfemi also used the opportunity to congratulate the newly deployed Honorable Minister for Steel Development, Alhaji Shaibu Abubakar Audu, indeed the entire late Abubakar Audu’s political dynasty, and His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, for putting Kogi State on the spotlight once again at the center of power.

He admonished the newly deployed Honorable Minister to deliver on his assignment as expected, especially now that the country is in need of a diversification of economy and alternative sources of livelihoods; as he is expected to bring to life the many hopes of Kogites, noting that his appointment is expected to serve as stimulant towards the revitalization of Ajaokuta Steel Company. Chief Olorunfemi went ahead to eulogized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for granting Kogi State a substantial spot in his cabinet; as he prepares for a full scale governance in the coming years of his reign.

In conclusion, Chief Olorunfemi once again congratulated the APC gubernatorial Candidate, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman, his Deputy Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo, and the entire All Progressive Congress in the State; as we match towards victory without mushroom distractions from weakling elements.
