
APC Ward E Stakeholders Endorse Tinubu, Ododo for Second Term, Reaffirm Zoning Demand

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward E, Lokoja Local Government Area, have formally endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, for a second term in office. The endorsement was declared during a stakeholders meeting held on Sunday, November 2, 2025, in Sarkin Noma, ahead of the party’s forthcoming primaries and the 2027 general elections.
The gathering drew critical political actors from across Ward E, including the Ward Leader, Hon. Baba Kamata; Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Women and Youth Mobilisation, Hon. Hajiya Fatima Marka Abbas; former Liaison Officer of Lokoja LGA, Hon. Idris Angulu Lokoja; Councillor representing Ward E at the Lokoja Local Government Council, Hon. Hajiya Aisha Amale; and Secretary of Lokoja LGA, Hon. Abubakar Danjuma Kwankwasiya.
Also in attendance were the Ward E Women Leader, Hajiya Tasu; the Lokoja LGA APC Public Relations Officer, Hon. Talba Lokoja; as well as several aspirants seeking the Lokoja I State Constituency ticket, including Suleiman Abdullahi, Hon. Yaba Maisaka, and Hon. Bala Justice, among others.
Speaking separately on behalf of the party leadership, Hon. Baba Kamata and Hon. Idris Angulu Lokoja affirmed the ward’s collective decision to back the re-election bids of President Tinubu and Governor Ododo. They cited achievements in security stabilisation, infrastructure expansion, and improved welfare packages particularly Governor Ododo’s recent upward review of doctors’ allowances by ₦300,000 as clear indicators of responsive leadership deserving of continuity.
In another resolution, stakeholders strongly reiterated their demand for the party to uphold the zoning arrangement governing the Lokoja I State Constituency seat. They stressed that since 1999, all wards within the constituency have taken turns producing a representative, making it the
